I know I know I know
This is a Celtics/Pistons place, but this is too freaking funny not to share.

Jp is seriously upset by Coach Rivers inability to keep his game plan strong for an entire game.
Dave hints that tanking is the right thing to do.
Dave admits to his drinking problem and Jp can’t remember players names.
All this and more this week on PalaceGarden podcast.
Finally Jp has made goo don his lost wager with Dave.
Celtics fans, I’m sorry for making you listen to this.
Pistons fans, I’m just sorry for you!!!
Celtics are looking better. Pistons look the same. Once again Dave has won our monthly contest, in fact he has dominated Jp so much Jp has conceded this month early.
Who should the Pistons draft this summer? How far will the Celtics go in the playoffs? Give us your thoughts.
Sorry sorry sorry, Jp is still sick but sucked it up long enough to put out this little gem. If you like, just listen to the silky smooth sound of Dave’s voice and turn down the volume when Jp speaks.
Dave is impressed by the Cavs.
Jp is supremely unimpressed with the Celtics.
Practice makes?
I may have been the only person completely thrilled when it was finally announced that the Celtics had traded for Nate Robinson. I never saw Nate as a head case. I never saw him as a malcontent. All I ever saw was a guy who could share clothes with Spud Webb and Muggsy Bogues while keeping pace with Dominique Wilkins and, well who did poor Muggsy ever play with.
Here we have a guy who is tremendously talented. I mean off the charts talented. Sure he’s short, but that does not make him less star-worthy. The guy is lightening fast, crazy strong, energetic, loves to play and, let’s be honest, just about rebounds at a rate equal to most of Boston’s front line.
While in New York he was benched for the month of December. Did he go out and blast the coach or the team like we’ve become accustomed to from Knick players? No. He sat and respected the coach’s decision. What happened one month later when he was asked to play? Did he guffaw? Did he cop an attitude? Was his play affected like so many other players who have sat for a month? Nah, he played 38 minutes, shot 75% en route to 41 points 6 rebounds and 8 assists on the road for a win in Atlanta.
So why is he Nate the Grate and not Great? Because he is the guy keeping the Celtics from sliding down the sewer drain while they are riding in the gutter. He is the guy who is infusing energy into the Celtics second unit. He is the guy, the exact guy, Boston has needed since Christmas. He is the guy who will win 2 or three more games for us this season. He is the guy who will save at least one playoff game for us. He is the guy who will give starters, not just Rondo but all the starters who have to get up off the bench early when the bench blows leads, the rest they deserve.
Glad you’re here Nate.
Jp has taken to drinking since the Celtics lost to the Nets.
Dave is starting to look forward to the lottery.
Look out for the suckosity.
That’s the question I have for the readers.
The Celtics current record predicts a 52 win season. 50+ wins used to mean something. A team that could win 50 games was one that had the potential to make some noise in the playoffs. Great franchises could be judged by how many consecutive 50+ seasons they’ve put together.
This Celtics team is not threatening to make noise or be judged a great franchise.
I don’t want to get into the numbers of games lost after leading by blah blah blah. The simple fact is, this team, right now, can not finish games. They have an embarrassing record against the league’s top 5 teams, but in all games played against those teams the Celtics have had stretches where they are clearly the superior team, just not the superior winner.
Last night the Celtics controlled the first half against the Cavs. They looked every bit like the title contender they should be. LeBron got his points, but the defense hounded the other 4 players into bad shots, forced shots and poor play.It should have been a 15 point win for the home team. Then the second half started and the Cavs had renewed focus, a better plan and a serendipitous injury to Shaq. (because he injured his thumb, Cleveland was forced to go small and quick)
I am taking a 10 game hiatus from bleeding green. I’m still going to root for my team, but I don’t care if they win or lose for the next 3 weeks. I want to take a step back and see what they are going to do about being so defeat-able.
The guys aren’t gonna get younger. They can be better conditioned, better prepared and more consistent…now who gets paid to make all those things happen??? Hmmm
Check us out this week as we weigh in on the status of our teams. Listen closely and you might hear Dave giving some praise to the Celtics.
Just like the NBA All Stars, we took a week off from our usual grind but have come back with this little gem.
Help us come up with new wager payoffs, please no one wants to hear Jp sing again.
Thanks for listening.
